Had an amazing Easter holiday! Found a great deal on a hotel in , and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing experience. The hotel was conveniently located near a small shopping center and close to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. Even better, the room came with a fantastic meal - such great value for the price! The central location made it easy for us to explore the city and all of its great attractions.

That the staff seemed a bit confused during check-in about our reservation, which added a bit of stress to our arrival. we noticed that the hotel had a strict policy about returning the key card, which was a bit odd for us as guests.

I was blown away by the breakfast at this hotel- it is the best I have had in all of my travels. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. The hotel facilities are also top-notch, with a well-equipped gym and a nice rooftop bar for evening drinks. Additionally, the hotel is located in a convenient area close to some great local restaurants and even a shopping mall.

New hotel that meets the requirements of a traveler. Wireless internet connection is good I stayed at Deluxe room with a very good room size.

The hotel is conveniently located close to a large supermarket and within walking distance to cafes, making it easy to get what you need. The hotel also offers easy access to temples and other tourist attractions, as well as being not too far from the airport. the hotel provides a smoking area for guests. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the bathrooms are clean with exclusive bath kits. The staff is friendly and welcoming, offering great advice and recommendations. Breakfast offers a great variety of food, including traditional Javanese specialties.

Despite offering great service, some guests experienced issues with late check-out times or overpriced taxi rides.

Good and clean room, nice room

It offered a neat, clean room with brand new construction. It is reasonable close to the city centre and the main tourist haunt of Malioboro. It was value for money at the rates we got.

It advertises itself as a five star hotel but is essentially a four star accommodation. Buffet breakfast was included in our package but the spread did not include many healthy/vegetarian option. Even the range of packaged cereals on offer was restricted to just one chocolate brand for kids. No fresh juices. No variation in the spread from day to day. Limiting the timing of the swimming pool to 7 am to 7 pm made it impossible for us to use he facility. I had booked at a dollar rate through Booked.net and was willing to pay in dollars in cash or by credit card, but was required to pay only in rupiah. It is expected that a five star hotel would have complimentary airport pick up and drop, but Grand Aston did not provide this facility.

Our stay here was exceptional, with luxurious amenities and impeccable service. We enjoyed relaxing in the spa lounge and taking a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offered excellent food and drinks, and the location was convenient for exploring the city.

The sauna was unfortunately out of order during our stay, but this was a minor issue in an otherwise wonderful experience.
